Inspired by Rachel Youn
I saw Rachel Youn's work today.
I feel so incredibly inspired. I want to follow them around for a day. I want to know how they think.

It's everything I wanted and I more. And I didn't even know I wanted it.
It's considering clutter, technology, right to repair, and the secret life of objects. I love how they choreograph in relation to each other. I am obsessed with how Youn talks about their process, especially when they source their objects, picking them up from folks in the second hand market.
In one interview, they talked about using speakers as plinths (but also speakers), and I was. like. Wow emoji, heart eyes emoji.
I think I am in love. Art Crush, etc.
Considering object to object interaction, vs object to people, or even objects to plants.
Ugh. Where did this come from? Is there more? I want more.
Where can I go? To experience things like this?
Fuck. It's so fucking hot when art is funny and tender and intimate and conceptually/relationally tight.
Also. Sculpture. Wow. ughhhhh. ahhhhhhh. nnnghhh.
I'm going to spend all night thinking about this.
